Q: Where is the National
Presbyterian Church and Center?
A: The National Presbyterian Church and Center is
located at 4101 Nebraska Avenue, NW; Washington, D.C. 20016. For a

Q: What parking is available?
Is there a fee?
A: Some free parking is available for free at National
Presbyterian Church. Parking also is available on surrounding streets.
However, we encourage you to consider car-pooling or using the Metro
system, since Washington can have frustrating traffic that can be
unpredictable.
Q: Is the Metro (subway)
system convenient to the convocation?
A: The National Presbyterian Church and Center is
about a 15-minute walk from the rail platform at the Tenleytown-AU
Station on the Red Line of the Metro (Washington’s subway system).

Exit to the west side of Wisconsin Avenue.
Turn right down Wisconsin to Tenley Circle.

Q: Which meals and snacks
are included in the convocation fee?
A: Coffee breaks and a boxed lunch are provided on
both days of the conference. Dinners are not included, but Washington
has an abundance of wonderful restaurants, including many ethnic foods
and a variety of price levels. We will provide a list of nearby eateries
for your convenience.
Q: Are there hotels where
we can get a discount rate?
A: No, we do not have specific hotels with whom we
have a partnership for this convocation. However, Washington has numerous
hotels that cover a range of prices. Also, because the location of
the convocation is accessible by Metro, you have the option of staying
elsewhere in the city. The street address of the location of the convocation

Please note that we encourage you to make hotel
reservations as soon as possible. Washington has many universities,
and a few have their graduation ceremonies the same weekend as the
convocation.
Q: What is the cancellation
and refund policy?
A: The registration fee includes a non-refundable
$50 deposit. If you cancel your registration on or before May 4, you
will be refunded your registration fee, minus the $50 deposit. After
May 4, the deposit is forfeited and absolutely no refunds are available.
Q: Are partial registrations
available? In other words, if I want to attend only one day of the
convocation, can I pay a reduced rate?
A: Due to the comprehensive nature of this event,
only full registrations are available, even if you are unable to attend
every session.

evening concert? Is admission included in my registration fee?
A: A description of the
concert is on the homepage.
Admission is included for registrants. Additional tickets will be
available to the public. Please note that the concert is open seating,
so tickets do not reserve specific seats.
Q: What else is there
to do in Washington, D.C.?
A: If you have never before visited our nation’s
capital, you are in for a treat. May typically is a beautiful time
of year in the city, and there is much to do. There are numerous wonderful
restaurants, many free museums, and many wonderful cultural opportunities.
